COLLECTION 04 / VISUAL STUDIES

Nature, under the lens.

Explore a visual study of cannabis botany and plant-derived materials. These editorial images are AI-generated illustrations, not evidence of products, sellers, or marketplace activity.

The source of an image matters as much as its appearance. Visual realism is not verification.

Evidence standards for statements about online markets

The claim ladder

Classify statements as directly documented, corroborated, attributed but unverified, contradicted or unknown. Avoid collapsing these categories into a simple verified/unverified badge.

Screenshots are context, not proof

A screenshot can be altered, taken out of context or copied from another site. It should be accompanied by an identifiable source, capture date and independent corroboration.

Claims of official status

Words such as official, verified and authentic require a reliable basis. This project does not authenticate marketplace URLs or provide routes to access them.

MUSEUM / ORIGINAL EDITORIAL NOTE 03

Why photographic realism proves very little

A convincing picture of a plant or an oil bottle cannot establish the identity of a seller, the authenticity of a product, or whether an online service exists. Images in this exhibition are synthetic editorial illustrations.
